The Miracles of Kannon was a series of ‘ukiyo-e’ prints made by both artists. The series depicts the pilgrimage to the temples dedicated to Kannon, a long-lasting tradition in Japan since the 6th century. On the top part of the print there is a trompe l'oeil landscape signed by Hiroshige, while the lower part was made by Toyokuni.
Woodcut print on rice paper adhered to another rice paper.
Moisture stains on the reverse.
