Lot description

Made of old cut diamonds. Frame in gilded silver.
Approximate diamonds weight: 11 cts. Total weight: 76 gr.
The necklace can be transformed in various ways: Both the floral and vegetal parts can be disassembled by means of threaded nuts and probably transformed into brooches (the pins are missing); the ends can also be disassembled and probably transformed into a bracelet. On the other hand, after these parts are disassembled, and based on similar models, the central part is transformed into a tiara (the combing structure is missing).

PROVENANCE:
French noble family based in the city of Barcelona.
According to Mellerio's written confirmation, the family that had owned it up to the present time was a client of the Parisian jeweller's since at least 1870.
