Lot description

Cylindrical base in sapele wood with three bulbs directed radially outwards. Lampshade with silk ribbon edging.
Moragas designed this lamp for his own use in his professional office in his mid-forties. It is said that, having this lamp on his desk everyday, he used it to place his notes and recently received business cards, inserted into the ribbon.
Designed in 1957 by Antonio de Moragas and now published by Santa & Cole.
Nuevo Estilo Award, Madrid 1992.
Slight damages to the lampshade.
Base height 42.5 cm and total height 63 cm.
