Lot description

Relief in ivorine depicting two muses of the classical arts, framed with gold and rose cut diamonds. With original box by Carreras Joyero from Barcelona. In 1845, Francesc d'Assís Carreras i Duran (Barcelona, 1797-1862) became a silversmith and jeweller for Queen Isabel II of Spain.
