Contains a reproduction of the Catalán Atlas on 6 panels & a study of the atlas with an introduction to the work, translation and transcription of texts. The Catalán Atlas, of which the original is in La National Library of France is the outstanding work o medieval cartography, and of the Majorcan School. It was made by the Hebrew cartographer Abraham Cresques & his son Jafuda as a commission for The King of Aragón Pedro IV as an offering to the future king Carlos V of France.
